Hello! I'm Tolga Üstünkök—a System Analyst and DevOps Engineer based in Türkiye. With a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and a background in Computer Engineering, I thrive at the intersection of complex distributed systems and robust software architecture.
My professional world is defined by observability. I specialize in designing scalable systems that turn raw time-series data into actionable insights, with a core focus on anomaly detection and proactive monitoring. Whether I'm optimizing a cluster or architecting an alerting pipeline, my goal is always the same: precision, reliability, and sanity in production environments.

Beyond the Terminal

I am a relentless tinkerer—whether it's managing maintenance on my vehicles, navigating home renovation challenges, or optimizing local hardware for LLM inference. I find that the process of repairing or improving a physical system is surprisingly similar to debugging code: it requires patience, logic, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.
Balance is essential to my workflow. I am a semi-professional pianist and a graduate of the Hacettepe University Part-time Guitar Department (2009). Music is my grounding force; it provides the creative counterpoint to my engineering work and keeps me balanced.
